Dave has been building in the Blenheim and Marlborough Sounds for 35 years and McRaeway homes for over 20 years. A keen motor racing enthusiast, Dave has raced go karts as well as playing tennis and badminton. Dave and his crew are responsible for many ‘Great Baches’ meandering through the Marlborough Sounds, often involving barges and helicopters. DB Building Limited:
Married with two children, Mark Dale of DB Building is a keen family man who has played his club rugby with Pleasant Point, and still enjoys both water and snow skiing. Mark has been building for 15 years and has built over 15 McRaeway Homes of various styles since joining us as a Network Builder in 2005. Walter Watson:
Walter is one of our longest serving Network Builders. He has built McRaeway Homes in Japan, the Pacific Islands and throughout Central and South Canterbury. He has also worked in the USA and Marshall Islands. Walter and McRaeway Homes go all the way back to the “A Frames” of the early 70’s. Walter’s son is also a builder and although he is currently living in Australia, he joined Walter in the hope of returning to NZ to take over the business and continue this great team effort with McRaeway Homes.

Steve Mowat Building & Construction Ltd:
Steve Mowat Building and Construction joined the McRaeway Network in 2007. With a staff of 28 and 14 vehicles including a 3 ton x 15m reach Crane Truck, as well as his own Joinery Shop and Roofing Business, Steve brings considerable resources to the table. Steve’s wife Rachael is heavily involved in the business as well as raising their 12 year old son and 9 year old daughter. Family sporting activities include both water and snow skiing, camping, tramping and wakeboarding, with a bit of rugby thrown in for good measure.
While they are Dunedin based and do build throughout the Dunedin area, Steve and Rachael have permanent staff based in Twizel, where they also build a lot of McRaeway Homes.

Ron Brown Building:
Ron Brown has built a number of McRaeway homes in Tekapo over the last 25 years. While Ron’s main focus is on the MacKenzie Country based out of Lake Tekapo, he is also the McRaeway ‘Go To’ man in Haast/South Westland, where he has a holiday home and spends time out during the hard MacKenzie winters. Like many of the network builders, Ron is a keen sportsman, having played rugby many moons ago for what is now known as the Harlequins club in Timaru. These days, his interests are golf, fishing and hunting.

McRaeway Homes network builder, Dave Wootton Builder Ltd has been the most prodigious of all the McRaeway Network Builders, having built over 300 McRaeway Homes since 1980. Dave and his wife Barbara have won numerous regional and national Registered Master Buidlers 'House of the Year' Awards with McRaeway designs and still enjoy building throughout Dunedin and the Coastal Otago region. Including one of their two sons, Dave and Barbara employ 11 staff, divided into 4 construction teams. Dave's sporting interests include "Anything that goes fast" with special interest in rugby, jet skiing, and golf. The Wootton family has lived in a number of McRaeway homes around Fairfield and have a holiday home in Central Otago.

Born in Timaru, Justin Carnie moved to Cromwell in 2006 where he and his team of experienced builders have a passion for the Central Otago region and the people who live there.
